Journey to Nidan - The Beginning

As I mentioned in a post recently I have been asked to grade for my 2nd Dan Blackbelt (Nidan) in Kyokushin Karate.

This is after returning to training after a several year break. This will be quite a challenge as I need to get back to my Shodan level of fitness, strength and ability and also learn and perfect any changes that have been made of the last couple of years and also learn the extra requirements for Nidan. I am looking forward to the challenge!!!

or to put it in my terms

this is going to be FUN!!! (and most likely hurt a lot)

So why get angry about things that do not have a major effect on our lives, or better still why allow these things to matter to us at all?
I'm not sure, I used to be this way, but for around 12 months now I am tending not to get angry anywhere as much as I used to, I do get disappointed and upset but rarely do I get angry anymore
